A fetal’s presentation is defined by the part of the fetus that overlies the pelvic inlet of the mom. A breech presentation is when the buttocks or feet are the presenting part in delivery. This presentation is associated with an increased risk for torticollis and developmental dysplasia of the hip. The most common breech presentation overall is frank breech presentation, which is when both hips are flexed and both knees are extended so that the feet are near the head (50-70%).
