Although, as of right now, I am not an official CME provider many PAs have tracked review hours on Smarty PANCE and claimed them successfully as self-study CME. You can read all about the NCCPA CME requirements and view a video on how to claim category two self-study CME acquired through Smarty PANCE here.
We have been carefully creating PANCE and PANRE board review since early 2013. In that time, we have had over 19,000 + members successfully use our program to augment their studying. Of this self-reporting user base, we have had a 99% success rate!
When you buy a Smarty PANCE membership you will be issued a receipt at the time of your purchase through Stripe. Simply print this receipt or forward a digital copy to receive your full CME reimbursement.
Preparing successfully for your PANCE or PANRE is going to be different for every person. Your timeline and outline for preparation are based on where you are in your training, how far removed you may be from general medicine, and a variety of additional factors. I recommend everyone start by downloading the PANCE and PANRE Blueprint Checklist. The NCCPA Content Blueprint covers every topic you are required to know come exam day. So, you should use this as your guide.
For some, the combination of 1-2 review books (here are my recommendations) along with a testing platform (such as Smarty PANCE) is more than enough. For others, it is best to augment with a more comprehensive online review course. It is best to take these courses 2-3 weeks before the exam.
Then you must practice questions - lots of them. Smarty PANCE has 1000's of board review questions in a live, interactive format (i.e., set to teaching mode), formulated to simulate the style and difficulty of your actual board exam.
