Family Medicine Rotation

Family Medicine Rotation (EOR) Exam Topic List

Aligned with the 2026 PAEA Family Medicine EOR™ Blueprint
We are currently updating all lessons to the new 2026 blueprint (effective July 2026). 8 of 13 lessons are live — remaining sections will be completed by July 2026.

The Family Medicine End of Rotation™ exam course is being aligned with the 2026 PAEA blueprint (effective July 2026). The new blueprint reorganized content areas, updated weightings, and retired "Urgent Care" as a standalone section — redistributing those topics across organ systems. Organized to follow the official 2026 PAEA Family Medicine EOR blueprint, each content area below links to a dedicated lesson with topic-level navigation, Quick Cram summaries, and board-style flashcards — so you study in the exact structure you'll be tested on.

We're keeping both versions live for now, so you can study whichever blueprint your exam follows — the new 2026 lessons below, or the legacy (pre-2026) lessons further down the page.

We're finishing the remaining sections now — this course, and all of our End of Rotation (EOR) lessons, will be fully updated to the latest PAEA blueprints by July 2026.

DISCLAIMER: The End of Rotation Topic Lists, Blueprints, and Core Tasks and Objectives are resources used by PAEA to guide the development of exam content and construction of exam forms. Questions on the exam are considered only a sample of all that might be included for the clinical experience, they are not intended to be all-inclusive, and may not reflect all content identified in the Topic Lists. These resources will be useful to faculty when determining which other supervised clinical education experience objectives may require additional assessment tools. These resources may also be useful to students when studying for the exam; however the Topic Lists are not a comprehensive list of all the exam question topics. PAEA's goal is not to provide a list of all the topics that might be on the exams, but rather to provide students with a resource when preparing for the exams. PAEA recommends that students review the Topic List, Blueprint, and Core Tasks and Objectives in conjunction when preparing for the exam.
