Preparing successfully for your PANCE or PANRE will be different for every person. Your timeline and outline for preparation are based on where you are in your training, how far removed you may be from general medicine, and a variety of additional factors. I recommend everyone start by downloading the PANCE and PANRE Blueprint Checklist. The NCCPA Content Blueprint covers every topic you are required to know on exam day. So, you should use this as your guide.

For some, the combination of 1-2 review books (here are my recommendations) along with a testing platform (such as Smarty PANCE) is more than enough. For others, it is best to augment with a more comprehensive online review course. It is best to take these courses 2-3 weeks before the exam.
