The answer is A. Persistent GERD
Esophageal strictures are essentially an abnormal narrowing of the esophageal lumen. They often present with dysphagia. Esophageal strictures are most commonly due to chronic GERD. Diagnosis is made with endoscopic evaluation. Management is esophageal stricture dilation (often over the course of multiple endoscopic sessions). An esophageal stent can be placed temporarily as well for refractory causes.
