Answer and topic summary

The answer is A. Manual reduction

Paraphimosis is a condition in which a retracted foreskin cannot be returned to its original position in an uncircumcised male. It can be a complication of phimosis, or due to trauma or a procedure. Clinical features include a band of constricting tissue, edema, and pain of the glans penis, and possibly features of penile ischemia. It is a clinical diagnosis. Treatment is manual reduction (with good pain control) or dorsal slit reduction if manual reduction fails.
